Last Dollar Road in the Colorado San Juan Mountains, a 4-wheel drive road in places, can be treacherous when wet. But on a beautiful fall day with peak fall colors, the solitude is wonderful.
The 4x5 digital image will make a 40 by 50 inch print that looks like you are standing right there in the road. The image was scanned at 3200 ppi with 16-bits/pixel. The color contrast of blue sky and yellow-orange aspens was captured perfectly on Fujichrome Velvia film and comes out beautifully on Fuji Crystal Archive photographic prints.
