Sleeping Dog at Night, Oia, Santorini

Dogs roam free in Oia, and this one was sleeping on a rock wall one evening. The "star" near the top edge, left, is the planet Jupiter.

Technical. Canon 5D Mark II 21 megapixel digital camera, 28-135 mm IS lens. ISO 100, 25 seconds at 28 mm f/8. The is a high depth-of-field image (HDOF): two images exposed equally on a tripod with he same scene, but optimum focus set on the dog and on the background, then the two images combined.
