Lion Cub Love

A Lion cub lovingly snuggles up to Mom. This is typical behavior that I have observed with lions in the wild in Africa. The Denver zoo. (Captive.)

Technical. Canon 1D Mark II camera with 500 mm f/4 L IS lens + 1.4x TC (=700mm f/5.6). This is a 3-frame mosaic, with each image 1/1000 second, ISO 200. The 3 frames were completed within 2 seconds.
