A beautiful waterfall any time of year, Alberta Falls is spectacular when framed by the yellow Aspen in the fall. And the crowds are gone! Second place, 1991 USGS Photo Contest, Advanced Amateur, Nature category. 35mm image, 4000 dpi scan (of course, a 6000 dpi drum scan can be done).
I have returned nearly every year since I obtained this image in 1990 to get this scene on 4x5, but I have yet to see conditions as good as it was for this image.
