This anhinga had speared a fish while swimming underwater. Note the fish is speared with the two halves of his/her beak like a fork. The bird had quite a time getting it off, then disappeared into the bushed to eat it. The enlargement below shows the fish better. Anhinga Trail, Everglades National Park, Florida.

Canon D60 camera, 500 mm f/4 IS lens at f/5.6, 1/250 sec at ISO 100.
