A seagull chases another seagull to try and grab the piece of salmon from the other bird in the Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve, November, 2019. These birds were darting rapidly back and forth, making following the action difficult, and an extreme challenge for the autofocus system. Backlit subjects are usually difficult for autofocus systems to track accurately.
